Desert War is an expansion for Dune: War of Arrakis that introduces new units and strategies for both the Harkonnen and Atreides factions, further detailing the harsh reality of the conflict fought on the burning surface of planet Dune. The Harkonnen player has the opportunity to field a new type of Vehicle – the Escort Ornithopter – and both players can deploy an entirely new category of soldiers – the resourceful Desert Troopers.
