Erzi Toys Froebel Stacking Balls Game
The Erzi Froebel Stacking Balls Game inspires children’s creativity and problem solving skills. Stack the 30 brightly coloured balls on the base tray into a pyramid following the templates. The challenge is to recreate the simple and more challenging patterns following the templates of increasing difficulty.
This educational game is named after Friedrich Froebel, a German educator, the founder of the kindergarten and an influential educational reformer of the 19th century. These large, tactile wooden balls are made from solid, sustainably sourced beechwood and brightly coloured in orange, yellow, blue, purple and green. Children can play this game alone or work as a team to take turns following the pattern shown on the template cards to create a pyramid. There’s plenty of scope for free play too for creating patterns and developing colour-sorting games with the coordinating drawstring bags. This is a brilliant resource for early years settings supporting fine motor skills, concentration and creativity.
