The Pillbug moves one space at a time, but also has a special ability it may use instead of moving that allows it to move an adjacent piece (friendly or enemy) to another empty space adjacent to itself. This special ability makes the Pillbug a formidable defensive and offensive bug.

The Hive Pocket Pillbug Expansion piece is used as an add-on for the Hive Pocket game. It adds an additional twist to the game play and it makes it a little more interesting.
