Step closer, visitors, and behold one of the most elegant pieces of 1980s engineering—the Sharp Twin Famicom.
A machine that dared to unite the Family Computer and the Disk System into one sleek body. Half console, half miracle, all nostalgia.
About this unit
Used and tested. Working.
Japanese-made rubber drive belt has been newly replaced.
Box and printed manual are not included.
The console shows scuffs and scratches.
Both controllers show wear, including scuffs, scratches, and some yellowing.
Includes third-party power adapter (100V–240V compatible) and connection cable.
Note: The controllers do not have turbo/auto-fire functions.
This unit combines the original Family Computer and Disk System functions in a video-output-capable compatible machine, allowing play of both ROM cartridges and Disk Cards.
Due to age, many Twin Famicom consoles suffer from worn-out drive belts, which often prevent disk games from loading properly. However, this unit has had its belt professionally replaced, so you can start playing disk games right away.
A note from the curator
There’s something magical about hearing that faint whirr of a disk loading on a real Twin Famicom.
It’s the sound of 1986 optimism—still alive, still spinning.
