Tengai Makyō: Kabuki Ittō Ryōdan is a 2D fighting game spin-off for the PC Engine CD, set in the fictional land of Jipang. The story revolves around the magician Radha M Ank, who has resurrected the powerful villain Garp, causing chaos in the world. To stop them, the game gathers various fighters from across the Tengai Makyō RPG series, including the flamboyant main character Danjūrō Kabuki, who must battle through opponents to reach and defeat the evil duo. The narrative essentially provides a framework for the one-on-one combat, uniting the franchise’s heroes against a common threat.
