Shoji Meguro, Atlus’ long-time musical architect, defines the Persona series with his hybrid style blending rock, jazz, electronic, funk, and cinematic scoring. For Persona 4 Arena, Meguro reimagined the upbeat pop-rock energy of Persona 4 into a sharper, more aggressive fighting-game identity.

He also collaborated heavily with Ryota Kozuka, who added heavier electronic textures and faster rhythmic structures tailored for high-intensity battles. The result is a soundtrack that merges Persona’s melodic brightness with the pulse and attitude of arcade fighting games.
