Breakout is back! Almost 49 years later, this action-packed, brick-breaking puzzle game is as addictive and challenging as ever. Developed by Choice Provisions (Bit.Trip), Breakout Beyond is a neon-soaked take on the 1976 original. With an adrenaline-pumping soundtrack, new power-ups, and 72 original levels, Breakout Beyond takes the franchise to a chaotic new dimension.

Breakout Beyond flips the legendary series on its head – or rather, its side. Play horizontally and break through bricks in each puzzle to make your way through to the final goal at the end. Hit special blocks to earn an edge with power-ups like large brick-breaking blasts, a forcefield that saves your ball, and a laser cannon that clears a path. Longer play racks up a combo and increases the intensity of the effects, creating a spectacular light show.

Each level will push your skills to the limit, but you won’t be without help. A focus mode allows you to slow down time at the expense of your score. Or, if you want company in the chaos, tag in a friend to play through the entire game in local two-player co-op.
