Capcom presents an intricately constructed triple vinyl release of the inception of the term “survival horror” – ‘Resident Evil’ – also known as ‘Bio Hazard’. Sleeve artist Boris Moncel from Blackmane Design crafted original pieces inspired by locations and creatures from the nearly three-decade-old game. Disc 1 features the famed original 1996 score composed by Koichi Hiroki, Makoto Tomozawa, and Masami Ueda – including a piece by Beethoven. 45 tracks have been carefully edited, titles verified (and in some cases officially assigned, like “Murder of Crows”) and specifically mixed for vinyl. The second and third discs are a special treat, containing a format release of Resident Evil Soundtrack Remix (initially released in Japan in 1996 as Bio Hazard Sound Track Remix.) Tomozawa’s 34. This edition comprises of traditional heavyweight black discs, while the packaging consists of a widespined outer sleeve with Cerberus front cover and obi strip, and three spined inner sleeves.
