The game Chiki Chiki Boys (チキチキボーイズ) for the PC Engine Super CD-ROM² tells the story of the peaceful kingdom of Alurea, which is suddenly invaded and decimated by an evil clown named Riepohtmahn and his army of monsters. The king’s twin infant sons are the only survivors and are evacuated, returning 15 years later as young men to reclaim their homeland. To restore their kingdom to its former glory, they must embark on a quest to find the two legendary magic stones known as the “Dragon Blue Eyes,” first earning the powers of the gods by completing stages in the Earth, Heavens, and Ocean realms before venturing into the monster’s castle to defeat the clown and a two-headed dragon.
