The Wú Míng Assault Corps is a penal regiment made up of the most ruthless and uncontrollable soldiers from Yu Jing’s military. Stripped of their names and identified only by serial numbers, these troopers are known as “pigs for the slaughter”—disposable but deadly. They serve under constant probation, closely watched by Zhànying Imperial Agents. As the lowest-ranking agents in the Imperial Service, the Zhànying are often forced to get their hands dirty, accustomed to navigating both back-alley dealings and front-line firefights.
