Magna Carta: Tears of Blood is an epic Korean-developed RPG that blends deep narrative, stylish character art, and innovative battle mechanics. Set on the war-torn continent of Efferia where humans and the Yason race clash, the story follows mercenary leader Calintz and the mysterious amnesiac priestess Reith as they uncover plots, racial strife, and the powerful “Carta” magic system.
Combat combines turn-based strategy with real-time elements: you control one character while up to three fight, fill a leadership meter, and execute timing-based “Trinity Ring” combos.
The US version, released by Atlus on November 16, 2005 (NTSC U/C, SLUS-21221), features English localization, a “Deluxe Box Set” with bonus materials including a poster and mini-strategy guide.
